Mozhdeh Harati is a Dubai-based visual artist and sculptor whose work emerges from intuition, memory, and the quiet language of symbols. With over 15 years of artistic practice, she creates pieces that invite reflection, curiosity, and deeper connection.
Holding a degree in Graphic Design, her creative journey has unfolded through numerous solo and group exhibitions, while the past seven years in Dubai have become an important chapter in the evolution of her artistic voice.
Her paintings blend acrylic and mixed media on canvas, where color, texture, and form come together as visual stories rather than fixed narratives. Each work leaves space for personal interpretation and discovery.
Alongside painting, she creates handmade papier-mâché sculptures that carry a sense of character and presence. These sculptural forms often emerge organically, guided by emotion, imagination, and an ongoing dialogue with nature.
At the heart of her practice is a fascination with transformation how experiences, feelings, and unseen worlds take shape through artistic expression. Her work explores themes of growth, wonder, vulnerability, and the relationship between the inner and outer landscape.
Every piece is created slowly and intentionally. There are no reproductions, prints, molds, or editions. Each artwork is handcrafted as a singular expression, carrying its own rhythm, story, and identity.
Through her creations, Mozhdeh offers more than objects to observe. She invites moments of presence an opportunity to pause, feel, and connect with something both deeply personal and universally human.
Over the years, her artistic practice has become a way of translating the unseen into form. My paintings are intuitive acrylic works created on canvas, guided by emotion, symbolism, dreams, and inner landscapes. Rather than beginning with a fixed concept or sketch, each piece unfolds organically, allowing colors, shapes, and forms to emerge through the creative process itself.
Eyes, abstract figures, and symbolic elements often appear as recurring motifs, reflecting themes of awareness, transformation, protection, and the subtle dialogue between our inner and outer worlds. Each painting becomes a visual exploration of the unseen an invitation to feel rather than define.
Rooted in a bohemian spirit of freedom, authenticity, and exploration, my artistic practice embraces creativity as a pathway back to intuition, imagination, and presence. Every artwork is a one-of-a-kind original, carrying its own unique energy, story, and expression.
